Bleeker & Weith actively supports young people entering the industry, providing practical experience, mentoring and opportunities to progress. The company’s investment in future talent extends beyond its workshop doors.
Each Friday, members of the Bleeker & Weith team visit South School to share practical life skills with students. From learning how to safely use tools to changing a tyre, the sessions are designed to build confidence and capability in young people.
“These kids are incredibly capable,” says James. “Sometimes they just need someone to spend a bit of time with them and show them what’s possible.”
It’s a simple initiative, but one that reflects a much bigger commitment to the community.
