South Canterbury cold storage business's multi-million dollar expansion underway

A host of economic factors are behind a South Canterbury cold storage business's multi-million dollar expansion away from the region. Coolpak Coolstores managing director Sid McAuley said the company had been in the process of building and commissioning a new cool store facility at the Izone Business Park in Rolleston since August 2016. The new facility was big enough to be able to store 25,000 pallets of cold product, he said.
